My 1991 C4 had clutch pedal travel below spec of 145mm. Found the clutch pedal shaft had the roll pin hole drilled at the wrong angle (could have been twisted, but seems unlikely). This caused maximum pedal travel to come up short 50mm. New pedal added 55mm and got me within spec with 150mm pedal travel.
Hope this helps someone else! Bill |

Hate to say it but I suspected the roll pin in the pedal assembly in the first place----remember I posted my gaff of removing the entire engine /tranny in a 1977 911 because I suspected the clutch fork was bent! Realizing too late afterwards that the pin had sheared off instead!. Now who misdrilled the hole?
