turbo twist upgrade on 993 nb

Hello Pelicans, I've already done plenty of searches on this topic. And have had some success. But i want to ask a few questions that weren't asked as i am new to the 993 platform.

I have a 95 993 narrow body that came with 17inch CupII wheels. I am looking to do the popular Turbo Twist upgrade. i am told i should look for 18x8s and 18x10s.

The set of turbo twists i found locally seems to come off a 996 for a killer deal.
18x7.5 +50
18x10+65

993.362.140.04
993.362.134.06

WILL THE FRONT 18X7.5+50 fit on my NB 993? or will they look super terrible and sunk??

any input will help. Thanks in advance.

pretty sure you are good to go on both front and rear but Bill V has lots of references here and I'm a 964 guy.

Most definitely plug n play wheels for your nb 993. Hollow spokes are even more preferable still.

Thank you for the input! I'm sure i will eventually have to get new tires. What tire size do you recommend? Just fyi i will be lowering the car to RS euro height in the future.

275 /35zr18 rears. 225/40zr18. Front. You can go smaller on the rear... but why . This is on mo30 springs and bilstiens. No fender rolling. No fender well rub. No spacers.

Not a great photo, but here's an image of my '97 NB with the Bilstein/M030 suspension set at (Approximate) ROW "S" height and 265/35/18 rears and 225/40/18 fronts.

Beautiful car!! Are those fronts 18x7.5 or 18x8s?

Thank you! This was right after I had cleaned it up. It usually doesn't look that good because it's my DD and I keep it in the road all the time.

The front wheels are 18x8, rears are 18x10. They're hollow spokes.

I am running 18x8 and 18x10. Yesterday I purchased a set of Continental ExtremeContact DW tires for a mere $449. I ordered 235/40/18 and 275/35/18. I hope this squares her up a bit to minimize the push/understeer. Although the understeer I have been experiencing could be because the front tires are 12 years old!
Has anybody ran 235/40 before? Any inside rubbing?

BTW - I purchased the tires on Tire Rack and had them shipped to my house. They were here the next day!

Awesome info. Thanks for sharing the tire tip as well. If you can post the wheels with the tires mounted id love to see the 235s and 275s look on the wheels.

Will do Jared hopefully having them mounted in the next day or so...Rennlists 993 forum seems to be more active than Pelicans. Perhaps more feedback would come that forum. CheeRS.
