I have a 97 C2S and just swapped out my DEAD stock battery for an Optima (read: no current;had to recode radio). I drove it for about 20 minutes and it seemed to drive fine with the exception that it stalled many times in parking lots, stop lights, etc. My long suffering wife can back me up that I don' usually stall my car dspite having a lightweiglt flywheel. Does this mean I have to drive 100 miles to get my ECU reprogrammed at the dealer? Help me stop feeling like a dork. Many thanks in advance.

Well, here's what I'd do...
- disconnect the battery for 20 minutes or so. - reconnect the battery, start the car and leave it idling in neutral for 10-15 minutes or so. - drive car as normal. (aka a system adaption, as I understand it) Worth a try, anyway - hope this helps!
