Engine operating hours - negative number?

I have run a dme report on my car and found that there are 2824 ignition cycles in range 1 and only one in range two at 233 hours.
Interesting info, but what puzzled me is the total operating hours count: -3143.

How is possible that this value is negative? The car has about 90k miles on.

2004 C4S whit what appeared to be the original engine stamp

I was told by an expert that they have seen a case where tuning the ECU can cause some of the data to be implausible. They suggested tuning back to stock.

We had the factory PIWIS scanner, a Durametric and one other high-end scanner that all had the curious results.
