updating head unit to touch screen bluetooth
I just purchased a '06 997. I am interested in what has been found to be the best way to update the media system. Of course Bluetooth, but I would love to go as far as a system that has touchscreen and Apple play so I can Google map, Waze, and ITunes right on the screen.

It was pretty straight forward on my 996. I lost some functionality but picked most of it up with the radio (nav). There are a lot of great kits for getting a double din to fit and look factory with connectors for integrating into the speakers (don't have to cut wires).

the mr 12volt was easy to install and works great. I purchased it from rennkit.com.
