Installing Nav in 996 w/o nav

Could someone point me to instructions, or if someone knows what parts i need (esp the outer trim ring for double din).

I have been looking at my PET manual and i cant seem to figure out what the outer trim is. but i can figure out the support pieces.

You're going to need to pick up the double din ring from a stereo shop. The thing you'll need to do is move all needed items to the lower part of your console. remove two items such as cup holders, CD holders, Cubby holes etc.

Most of the time you'll find it's just worth finding a decent shop for the install.

Best of luck,

One last thing, if you're installing a Porsche Nav unit you'll really need all items including the brain etc. this can be a nightmare if you don't know what you're doing. Aftermarket is the best route to go IMO.
