Hi guys, I have an oil leak from the left variocam actuator. The one between spark plugs . Unclear at the moment if it's the actuator itself or a seal ring that's causing the problem? Is it an easy job to remove / replace the actuator or does the engine have to come out ? Any special timing or setup prerequisites before removing it ? Thanks

The one between the spark plugs actually controls the valve lift. It is simple just pull it out. It is probably the solenoid... Usually the tell tale sign of the actuator being faulty is oil inside the electrical connector. If you could unplug the connector and shoot us a photo that would be GREAT!!
