Moving Moduals in center display

As best I can tell there are 4 places in the center display that are similar in size. mine are set up in this order

TOP
Climate control
AMFM CD Player
CD Holder
cubby
BOTTOM

Are these spaces interchangeable? Whenever I have anything in the cup holder you can hardly see the display on the climate control. I would like to trade places with the CD holder. is this feasible before I tear into center display?

I apologize if this is covered somewhere else, but I couldn't find it.

I re-arranged mine because of adding the GPS display... I'm not sure if it's plug and play for what you want to do, but with a little extra effort and some black plastic to match the facia anything is possible.

I had a couple of blank switch locations on the "horse shoe" so I moved my seat heaters switches to the horse shoe facia. I did have to section the cubby, you can see the section lines were I cut it.

I might have saved some of the plastic, if I can find it and you decide to move ahead I'll send it to you. You might try the Renntech site as well for additional information.
