For those not quite ready to race with TCRA, there is a PCA-SDR DE at Qualcomm stadium on the 29th. Lots of seat time for cheap $$$. Details below.
May 29th QDE Pre-Paid Registration On Saturday, May 29th, PCA-SDR will be holding a Driver Education event at Qualcomm Stadium in the West Lot. If you would like to pre-pay for this event and save $20, please click on the link below, complete the form on your screen and print it. You may then mail, fax, or scan and e-mail the printed form in with your payment. The form and payment must be received by 11pm Wednesday, May 26th, so please get your entry in the mail quickly (or use the quick credit card payment option and fax or e-mail your printed entry form in right away). PLEASE NOTE - THERE IS A NEW FAX NUMBER AND A NEW MAILING ADDRESS FOR THE PRE-PAID REGISTRATION FORM Martha McGowan will be the new pre-registrar for Qualcomm Stadium driving events. Robert Baizer will be the pre-registrar for away driving events only. Click here to download the pre-paid registration form (please do not use any older versions). PCA-SDR accepts VISA and MasterCard for pre-paid registration! The form has spaces for a credit card number, expiration date and signature. If you wish to pre-pay using one of these credit cards, fill in the appropriate spaces instead of enclosing a check. Credit card registrations may be faxed (no cover necessary) to 1-866-302-1713. PLEASE BE SURE TO SIGN the printed form if you pay by credit card. Note that on the pre-paid form there is a drop-down menu that allows you to use the same form for multiple events. Look for the downward pointing arrow to the right of the words "Select Event Here", click on it and be sure to select the May 29th event. If you elect to use this pre-payment option, you will receive your armband and run group sticker at tech inspection (please stop by the table located at tech inspection after getting your tech form signed off and pick up your registration envelope), and you will not need to visit the registration trailer. No matter what, PLEASE print and fill out the Registration Form (this is NOT the same as the attached pre-paid registration form) and bring it with you (do not mail or fax it!) to tech inspection. This form has been updated; if you have an older copy, please download the new version. For DE rules, see http://www.pcasdr.org). Helmet rentals and late fees will still need to be paid at the trailer if applicable. Again, this form will need to be received by 11pm on the Wednesday prior to the event for you to be included in the pre-pay group. If there are any changes to your registration, you will still need to visit the registration trailer. Should you have any questions, please contact Martha McGowan at prereg@pcasdr.org.

Yes Sir, The car and I are all set to do the enduro at Buttonwillow. The enduro is on Saturday, with a shorter sprint race on Sunday. For a quick minute, I toyed with the idea of coming back to Willow Springs on Sunday and doing the TCRA race. I have to drive right by Willow Springs on my way home anyway.
Looks like there will be plenty of motorsports action around Southern Cali Memorial weekend.

2 Day Divisional SCCA Autocross at Pikes Peak International Raceway, in Colorado Springs. There's also an SCCA road race going on inside, so we can check out the other side of the coin. Always a fun weekend.

No paint yet. I was beat when I got home. Didn't do anything for 3 days. You and Tyson should come out for TCRA.

I have a buddy from highschool coming for the weekend to stay at hotel Joe. I also want to work on my car if I can. Im shooting for mid July. I have lots of little things to do. I ordered viper green in a rattle can for the front trunk. Should be here by the end of the week. It will be a big leap in the project if I can finish that. Your welcome to come down to LA if you want and hang with us.

Glad you'll be there too. Jae Lee in the green widebody from the R Gruppe track day. Bill Dawson with a 76 turbo, has run 1.50 at Fontana. He was at the PCA SOW that 3 day weekend but broke on Saturday and went home early. Anthony Dilanzo and myself with cars similar to yours. Perhaps Roland with the black wide body with a 3.6. He was 3rd right behind me at that SOW event. Might be one or two more from San Diego but a couple of the guys did not get their cars ready in time. Looks like it should be nice, but windy. We plan to arrive Friday afternoon. see ya at the track, MG Last edited by ted; 05-24-2004 at 03:53 PM.. |

At Buttonwillow, Mr. Marshall dominated. I will let him give you the details, but his car and driving were extremely impressive.
