Need some input. Bilstein Shock values
Hi Guys,
What do you guys think of the front Bilstein insert valving of 260/160 for a 2000 lb car with 23mm, 30mm. 1969 Narrow body. I know of one other who runs this with his car and likes it (22mm front though). Anything will be better than what I had. Thoughts anyone?

Chad,
I don't know valving numbers too well, but It think the RSR numbers were like 270/180 or something like that. Jae Lee at MirageIntl.com knows his stuff... I've worked with him for a while and he's a great guy, knowledgeable as well.

I had mine revalved to 200-150 for the front and 360-140 for the rear. The car has not been on the track yet but I was told that it was a good setup for 23/31 tortions. Where are you sending them? Bilstein direct?
I got my #s from Steve Allicon. Hes pretty fast and knows suspensions. Jack over at bilstein can help but his #s are very conservitive. All i know is that my suspension is pretty frigin tight. I have RS bodywork with 245-50 17 and 275-50 17 with elephant racing monoballs all around. |

Steve is who I got these from. So I'm sure they will be great on the car. I was just curious what you other guys were using. And what the verdict would be. On the rears we are going to use the Smart Racing numbers.
I cant wait to try these out.
