Sho nuff. The body ain't good enuff to leave it bare metal.
I think I've found a job that's worse than sheet rocking, roofing or insulating.

If you're serious......don't be....but, if you are, you'll have no trouble selling it. It *is* an icon, after all.

Yeah, well....***** happens, ya know?

I tried stretching them out some more, but could only get out to bout 11 inches and they looked like hammered shi....not gud. The HPH flares give me 12.5 wall to wall which should keep me happy. 11 inch slicks are as big as I can go in my class.....a 10 X 16 wheel, actually. R35 Hoosiers ought to be enuff to rip the rear suspension right off the car.... which will give me somethin' else to do.

He's gonna seam weld the entire car for rigidity is my guess. However, I don't see the purpose of seam welding the Targa bar unless you need practice.

And by the looks of his welds, I don't think he needs the practice.

Anyway, I can't see what type of roll bar/ cage is in the car, but many tie the cage to the shoulder belt mount mid way up the bar. If you trianglelate down to the longitudinals in the footwell, the doors should open and close perfectly in a 60 MPH hard turn.

So, I guess if the bar is stronger, mebbe it does something.

Nothing so sensible, Zeke.
I've never liked the cloth or chrome on the Targa bar.
when it all comes off, there's the pinch seam....which is even ulgier. So, cut it off, welded it back up and slathered bondo on the whole mess....got a coat of primer on it to make it pretty

I'm pulling Kermie up to your garage tomorrow....
How much Viper green paint ya got???????

I drove a 330 XI beemer today.
Not bad if ya like a 4500 lb slug of lead.
Wouldn't be bad for a daily driver with 4x4, stick and pseudo M qualities. I guess I'm just not yet beemer material.
I sooner be in that R32 people's car than this buggy.
Probably if I had some gold chains, it had been cool.

Maybe I'll let some air out of my tires tomorrow, so I feel like I'm working on the car or something.
You going to be home all day, JP?
