'Willow Springs' bumper sticker

Willow Springs is my favorite track. I'd happily slap a bumper sticker on my 911 (or even my respectable family car), but the WSIR merchandise that the track sells is, well, to me... kind of ugly.

So, I just got busy with my long-out-of-date typography and letter-spacing skills, and put together two samples of the same basic bumper sticker.

I wanted it to have a vaguely retro look to it -- but not a 'sixties' look. I wanted it to look like it came out of the year 1978. (Or at least the 1978 that exists in my head.)

I know how to get vinyl decals cut, but I think this would be best (on a dark or black car, at least) as a black decal with white lettering. I think cut vinyl would not hold the narrow lines well enough to last very long. A bumper sticker also needs to be UV safe, so it doesn't fade.

Is anyone interested in a sticker like this, if I had one made, and does anyone know of a manufacturer that can do low-volume runs of bumper stickers?

Here are the samples. The first would be for a light color car. The second would be black with white text.

The stickers look good. I don't know anything about cutting vinyl, but aren't there computer programs for making bumper stickers on paper stock that you buy? I always wax any paper bumper sticker I use and they last without fading until I get tired of them and pull them off.

Check out cafepress if you havent already, they will make as few or as many as you want. Ive never made a bumper sticker with them but i have had some shirts made. The quality was pretty good and it is very easy to do if you have a digital image of what you want on the bumper sticker. Good price too.

Looks good, Jack.
You should show the Willow Springs management your logo.
They may like it and make a change.

(But there's no way I'd put any kind of bumper sticker on my Porsche.)

The way this needs to be done is vinyl (black/clear) with the vinyl lettering heat transfered on to it in (white/black). (like the 3.6 & 3.8 stickers I made you) I can do this for a low volume run, but not sure how quickly I could get it to you.

Jack, I would suggest making a static cling logo that you can attach to the inside of your quarter windows. A number of East Coast tracks sell these. It would show your "support" for WS but be easily removable for a clean street look. Multiple time use if handled/stored carefully.

Jack,
Try this company. They make custom decals as long as its on a file. If its too expensive try doing a group buy. I looked into then for some gumballs for the sides of my car. Good luck.
