harness lap belt 2" or 3"?

I've noticed harness lap belts come either in 2 or 3 inch webbing. Does it matter? What's the preference.

Also some are pull up and some are pull down. Preference here?

Simon

Get the 3 inch belts. They're more widely accepted. While pull-up is easier to adjust (you have more leverage), I believe you'll find the pull down style installs easier.

Bottom line: Get a six point with 3" waist and shoulder belts and pull-down adjusters.

I have a SABELT 3" 5 point pull down for lap belt and shoulder belt. Doesn't work with my new sparco seat, I can't tighten the lap belt as it hit the hole in the seat sides. Work OK with Recaro SRD.

Now have 3" Simpson 5 point Camlock Pull down shoulder and pull up lap. I can get all belts tight now.
