The DL-90's been replaced by the DL-1. It's what I use.

I'm thinking about this

I'm hoping they get it to work w/ trackvision or some other overlay program. Not as pricey as AIM, but not cheap either.

If you drive regularly with a bunch of guys, I would consider getting what ever they have, there are three of us in Toyo Cup now with DL90s and we are able to swap data and see who is faster where and why. It has helped me a lot.

Good point...we've got about 8 of us seriously looking into these things. My problem is that what I know about computers you could fit in a thimble. I think if we take the plunge, I think a WSIR Friday track day would be in order, so we could sort them out.

Thanks guys. The DL1 is not bad but they sure whack you $$ for the dash. The G2X looks interesting and may do the trick..

I have a DL90 (soon upgrading to DL1) and a Mychron dash, We have a car that we maintain that came with a MoTec ADL, its an impressive unit as one would expect

All the above are good units..Ive also been interested in the race-Tek dash, the new logger they introduced looks very good also.

So many choices now,

Woohoo...I put the G2X in and it works. It wouldn't hold my gear settings when I turned off the car, but a quick call solved that. Programming wasn't that difficult. I mounted the display in the middle of the dash in the shadow of the front fender. Antenna has a strong magnet so I placed that on the dash as well...no hole in the roof. It logged my sessions and it was kinda neat to look over and check speed. 127 in Turn 8 @ Willow and 97.xx in Turn 2. I need to go over the info on the computer next.

So now I've got my sessions in the computer and checked 'em out. Pretty cool. 1.42 lat G's in T2 not 8 as I had thought. Gives me a theoretical lap time of 1:28.303...gotta find 3/4 sec somewhere. A good jump out of T9 makes a lot of difference...like 8mph. Top speed of 140 mph (short 5th gear).
