A bit OT, but close enuff
Here's a pic of my Uncle Dick's hot rod. He passed away this last Sunday. The occasion was a Sefair Sportscar race at Bremerton or Shelton back in 1958, IIRC. The driver was Jerry Grant and he was first into the first
turn, by God ![]() Note the taped headlights & all then effin' Stromgberg 97s. They ran Firestone Indy car tires if memory serves. ...... ![]()

Just saw this, JP. Sorry to hear about your uncle. He musta been full of some great stories given that car. I remember well the 6-pac of 97's.
