Man, that is a big change in look Mike... looks good all blacked out tho' ;) Been sorta following all the changes; you have made quite a few since the last time I rode in it! There is a new track here, opened this year, just east of Denver about 40 miles called High Plains Raceway. I am trying to get out there on the 30th for the last open track day but we'll see how things play out.

It is a really nice track, smooth new surface and so forth. Challenging as well, one weird characteristic is that nearly every turn is late apex, which takes some getting used to as most tracks aren't biased that way. Lots of elevation changes too.

PCA is this weekend in fact, thinking of driving out just to spectate.

There is Miller Motorsports Park in Utah, haven't been there yet as I want to get a few good, consistent track days down with the car before making a trek over the mountains, but I have heard that track is nothing short of awesome, especially if you can do the full loop with the super long stretch.

I just bought a new vid camera that uses disks v. hard drive but don't have an IO Port mount yet but look forward to getting some vid next year. Will probably wait and be cheap and get the mount during Xmas when IO does their sale each year :D

Is that around Central City? Does that new highway they built that goes to Black Hawk/ Central City take you there? Heard it is an awesome getaway. Haven't heard from my friend out there in a while.

Haven't checked your thread to definitively say but just read all blacked out and can't argue there. A mean black 914 one runs out here you would enjoy watching.

And going to Miller must be awesome especially a night race and you are all blacked out. :)

B - the new track is east of Denver, not towards Central City. You get there via I-70 for the most part. I actually ran out to the track last weekend but there was little turn out, they took a late lunch starting right when I got there at 1pm, so I pretty much got right back in the car and drove home to continue working on mine instead. Waste of a couple hours drive time actually.
