I like the roll bar mount best because you see more of where the car is going on the track and also the quick hands of the driver. It looks like more work and feels faster.You can occasionally see the tire even in the roll bar view at large steering angles.

We were test flying the camera & mounts. The higher mount was on the side of the targa bar and the lower on the fender.....a suction deal.....hay, it wasn't my camera.
The mount seemed to work very well no matter where we stuck it (within reason).I'm told they make a wide angle lens for another 20 bucks to the 180 dollar price of the thing. Oh, it's a Go Pro Hero.
