I am flying out to Florida on Sunday to drive the all-new Aston Martin Rapide (a stunning 12-cylinder four-door competitor to the Porsche Panamera). I am handed the keys Monday for driving/photography (8 hours) and then fly back to LA that night. The story will go on Autoblog a few days later.

I am bumping up to TT this season but wont be able to do so until the Triple crown . Cant do Nevada and the next one is Valentines weekend and thats out for sure, Jonathan and I will be in El Toro though. Then my first TT at big willow. Sorry to miss the first STS, couldn't be helped....cant wait to be at the track again and check back in with everyone. Andrew how is the BSR doing?

The BSR is doing great. I'm still learning how to drive it. Less brake, more gas!

When does the racing start on Saturday? I will be coming in the afternoon and I want to make sure I can see a good bit of the action on the track. How long are the races?

Saturday's Cup Races are currently scheduled to start at 3:15 but that is subject to change. Sometimes the racers like to start earlier so that they're not fighting the setting sun. In that case, the schedule is decided at the morning drivers meeting.

Saturdays races are 12 laps, Sundays are 15 laps
