A stock SACHS Sport kit with the aluminum pressure plate will do just fine, this is what I have and it works great and is about as light as I would want to go while retaining CIS for limited street use. If you want to get crazy and spend lots of money, WEVO has a sweet multi-plate race set up and a light single for some street use.

Hi Evan... how is things going with you?... sorted Clutch out and went with what you first said anyway, so thanks for that... quick question that you might know... how do I go around getting a 10k Tachometer with the MSD ignition... aftermarket or modify my tach?

I am doing well but spending way to much time working on other peoples water pumpers of late which is making me want one.
Do you want it to look stock? The cheap solution is stick a Auto Meter aftermarket tach in the dash as the 5" fits in the dash with a little electrical tape shimming. The other solution that will work better and look more race car right but is more expensive is this STACK Professional "Monster" Tachometer (what I will probably eventually go with) . If you want an entirely stock look that retains the turn signal and high beam indicators, there are a number of companies here in the US that can rebuild/convert the stock tach to a 10K that is compatible with the MSD. That said, my tach doesn't work and I don't miss it. You really don't need a tach in a race car as you are always shifting by sound anyways. Last edited by Evan Fullerton; 03-11-2011 at 11:56 AM.. |

NH Speedo redid my early VDO tach with a 10K face and ballast mod so it works with the MSD, and bounces a lit less. It looks cool but I agree with Evan that I rarely look at it on the track.

You can contact Rich Walton at Jerry Woods Enterprises. They have a new clutch kit for the 915 that works very well.
