1969 912 coupe
SALE PENDING
1969 912 Paint code: 69-6804-L (Light Ivory) VIN: 129020733 Engine Ser # 4093772 Engine type: 616/40 Case Casting # 116006 Trans: 4 Speed (902/4) Miles: 97,500 Asking $12,500 More pictures at: http://www.pbase.com/fidalgo911s/1969_912&page=1 Great little 912. Drives very well. Motor runs and pulls strong. Original Solex carbs. Steady idle and great throttle response. Transmission is nice and smooth. No grinding, great syncros. Receipts back to 1996/50,000 miles. The body and interior are very nice. A couple of door dings. No structural rust. Small paint bubble on the lower forward driver’s side. The trunk is nice and clean as are the pans. Really great shape. The seats are fine but the driver’s side could use to be re-done only for more foam and support. The rear seats look like they’ve never been sat in. Headliner is smooth and tight with no tears. I replaced the carpets just recently. Original Reba seatbelts. Re-paint at some time. Decent job. But there is some color difference in the jambs. I tried photographing it to give you a better idea. The front bumper has some paint chips on it. Picture at the link above. I removed the aftermarket stereo (Alpine, goes with car) and replaced dash material with radio delete look. I planned on putting the radio in the glove box. Wiring harness still there. Have yet to remove the rear speakers. Even though I’m not a big fan of radios in Porsches, this one has great sound. All five steel wheels are date stamped 10/68. Plenty of tire tread. Please e-mail for more information and if you have additional questions. You can PM me here or contact me at snyinc(at)comcast.net. Thanks, Nate
