1999 GT3 / GT3R Cup - NEW PRICE $50,000
NEW PRICE $45,000!
1999 GT3 Cup with Wagen Pass and all log books, converted to GT3R body and suspension. Carbon fiber hood and doors, 2 sets of BBS center lock wheels, JRZ shocks, updated to ABS brakes, etc. Engine and transmission were just rebuilt and have only 15 minutes of test time, including new high compression pistons, Motorsports World Challenge intake, new clutch and pressure plate. The car is mechanically perfect and ready to run today. Answers to Questions
To answer some of the questions that have been asked;
Chassis number: WPOZZZ99ZWS698007 Wagen Pass shows 1st Owner as EBI Motorsport in Europe 1999 ran 2 ALMS races with Scott Peeler as owner Resurfaced in 2006 when purchased by Dan Ferguson, and maintained by DeMan Motorsport. 2006 ran 4 races 2007 ran 4 races 2008 ran 7 races I purchased the car in early 2010 and we ran the car in 2 NASA GTS-5 races In addition to the fresh engine and trans., the car also has all new rotors, all new Pagid race pads, and the suspension and axles, bearings, CV's, etc. were all new in 2009. To answer the questions on what was done to the engine and gearbox;
Porsche GT3 Cup engine Disassemble engine, clean and inspect parts Magnaflux and polish crankshaft, Zyglo Connecting Rods Replace main and rod bearings (GT3 RSR coated) Rebuild cylinder heads and replace valve springs (GT3 RSR) Replace pistons and cylinders early GT3 RSR 12.5/1 CR Rebuild Titanium connecting rods with new ARP bolts and new pin bushings Replace all gaskets and seals Porsche GT3 Water Cooled Gearbox and clutch Disassemble gearbox and clean parts Inspect gearbox for damage Replace broken third gear New Guard Transmission 19:32 3rd gear set New 35x47 needle bearing New steel syncro rings 3rd 4th New 3rd 4th engagement sleeve New seals and gaskets Resurface (grind) flywheel Replace Tilton clutch including disks Rebuild annular release bearing We also just replaced all the brake rotors, and all new Pagid pads. The suspension wear components such as CV’s, axles, bushings, and bearings, were replaced in 2009. |
