This '76 Targa has a 1982 3.0 liter engine with about 75K miles. I bought the car in running condition, but all body parts, rubber, mirrors, lights, interior, etc. were in boxes. 90% of rubber has been replaced with new. The body was stripped. All parts buffed out, primed, and freshly painted. New carpet. Upholstery - new for seats, side panels, pouches, etc. Dash has no cracks. New Targa top. Glass is in very nice shape. Transmission was rebuilt with engine conversion. The tail...came with the car, not my choice. The color is not Porsche, but a Mercedes blue...concession to wife for spending over $30K on project. No oil leaks. Oil pressure 95-110 when running. Temp when running 120. Odometer came stopped at 120K miles. Probably have put 5K on car since conversion to 3.0 engine. Except for the odometer, everything works well. I'd replace the radio/casette...only thing I haven't touched. Body is straight. It is driven very little and sits covered in garage most of the time, so it's time to sell. I have no idea what's it worth, but I'm listening for offers. If you want an older 911 that runs fast, tight, and solid this is a good one.
Thanks, Dan
