1998 993 C2S Garage Queen

My stepdad is retiring and has to sell his baby so I will be selling it for him. He has been the owner for about the last 10 years give or take. Does his own maintenance but does have records and receipts. He received records for it from previous owner. Like I mentioned in the title, this was pretty much a garage queen with low miles. Oil and brake fluid were changed yearly regardless of how many miles he drove that year. He never took it out if it was supposed to rain. If he did get caught in the rain, all 4 wheels were taken off so he could give the wheel wells and suspension a good cleaning. He took really good care of this car and I wish I had the funds to buy it myself. Stereo is long gone but it still has speakers. He replaced the head unit with a radio delete plate. Stereo was pointless as he ran it with Fabspeed Supercup exhaust. The stock exhaust has been put back on for the sale.

-38,600 miles
-Guards Red with gray interior
-Sport Seats in gray leather
-Straight blade fan from 993 turbo replaced the stock curved blade fan. Turbo fan pulls more cooling air than curved blade fan which is good for Florida summer temps.
-New tires
-brake pads and rotors are new
-Aftermarket xenon headlamps
-Never had any secondary air issues

Issues

-He replaced the stock steering wheel with an RS wheel. Since the RS wheel has no air bag, it has caused the air bag light to come on. He swapped the stock wheel back in for the sale but it needs to get the fault cleared. Nothing wrong here, just need a scanner or whatever tool that is needed. (I'm no 993 expert sorry!)

-I noticed when I was taking pictures that the drivers side door seal is going to need to be replaced and the seals for the door handles. Kind of nit picking here but want to disclose anything I know that could be possibly wrong.

-Since he swapped out the stock engine cooling fan with a turbo fan that provides more cooling air, if the car is not warmed up before you rev it past 3k it will throw a fault code. You will not get a fault code if the car is warmed up before you run it past 3k rpm or if the stock fan is put back on. (He was going to put the stock fan back on for the sale but the alternator that goes with it died so he left the turbo parts on.)

Anything that he changed like pedals and shifter, he still has the stock parts for it and if wanted can be included with the sale. He also has the Fabspeed supercup exhaust and RS wheel that were removed for the sale that are available separately, or if really interested can be included with the car.

Asking $49,000

Questions??? Shoot me a pm.

Forgot to mention the car is located in the Tampa Bay area.

Back on the market. The previous sale didn't happen. There is a problem on carfax. Carfax shows a incorrect odometer reading back in Jan 2002. I have dealership maintenance records that prove this is wrong. Tried to get carfax to fix the error but they wouldn't budge. Vehicles condition and maintenance records should prove that it is an error so if you are interested in this vehicle let me know.

My stepdad did install the stock fan back into the car.

We understand that not a perfect carfax will hurt the value some even though the carfax is wrong. Don't be afraid to make an offer. You won't be disappointed with this car.
