1990 944S2 Coupe, 5 spd, LSD FS

1990 944S2 5 speed coupe with limited slip. One of the best street cars Porsche ever made: I smile every time I drive it. I’d keep it but new (to me) 968 means I have no room.

Mechanically excellent: everything works. I’m a long time PCA member/944 owner; I bought this car in 1995; it’s been meticulously maintained since.

All maintenance is current: new belts, brake rotors and much more. Needs nothing. Just passed NJ inspection. Maintained by Precision Motorsports: call 908 832-6572 and ask for Will. K&N air filter, AutoAuthority chip: otherwise power train and chassis are completely stock. Mobil 1 as long as I’ve owned the car. Annual brake fluid changes with ATE high temp fluid. All maintenance is documented.

153,900 miles includes many track days and lots of highway miles but always reliable and still is. New 968 forces me to sell it. Seats and suspension have many fewer miles (they’ve been in my basement for many years). Full disclosure: some bodywork before I bought it but car is straight and true. No dash cracks or any other interior defects except normal wear on seats and carpet. Paint has front end chips and some scratches to be expected but still gets lots of second looks. Always garaged as long as I’ve owned it. No winters for many years.

Hatch is tinted (new in 2012) as are rear windows: looks sharp and is very practical. Nearly new radio (CD, iPod/SmartPhone connectors, etc.).

Numerous spare parts if interested. Includes Lexan bra that is impossible to find.

My S2 just returned from a fresh alignment after install of stock suspension off a 43K mile 968. So it now rides and handles great: I'd forgotten how good the standard setup is.
