1977 911s

I am selling my 1977 911s targa, VIN 9117210901. I love it but I am restoring a 914 which is a targa and I just bought a Carrera Coupe so this has to go sometime but not in a rush since I have space to store it.

Body:
Body currently red, original color code is 432- copper brown metallic. Front trunk and underbody is original paint as well as the underside, while the jambs, exterior
and engine bay are all red. There are 2 less than dime size bubbles on left rear fender, I think from a past tire rub and a crack in the paint on the rear lid where you
push to close it (the lid is solid though), these paint defects could be sanded and touched up pretty easily but they have not progressed in a couple of years I have had it. Paint is decent driver, not stellar. I get a lot of head turns in it, it has
a nice stance and a real classic look.

No rust on the 1977 galvanized body, no history or evidence of accidents, was purchased from west coast around 3 years ago and stored indoors. The targa top had a full rebuild from Dan at Carsinc this year. (so much quieter and nicer now). Comes with a new front targa seal I have not gotten around to installing (current one is fine and does not need to be replace just thought I would install a new one at the same time as new top, comes with car).

Mechanical:
Mileage is 126000 miles, engine number is 6272038 , I assume it to be matching based on the numbers but have not done COA. It runs very strong, it may have had a rebuild but no documentation, starts right up with original CIS, does not smoke, air injection system removed and plugged, upgraded chain tensioners and 11 blade fan, backdated heat set up (have all original heat set up parts which are included), valve adjustment and oil change last week, alternator rebuild this year and new voltage regulator. Good studs. The transmission shifts well (down as well) with Seine gate shifter and short shift and has new Kendall oil in it. Has original exhaust system. MSD ignition has been added.

The 15x7 fuchs are not authentic but very nice and there are new Yokahama S drives on them with less than year and 1000Km. Has original spare.

I just installed brand new front HD bilstein inserts and HD rear bilstein (used but in good shape) this year and turbo tie rods last year. New halogen H4 front headlights with sugar scoops (have chrome and red that are included) and fuse kit. Even the clockworks!

Interior is in good shaped with RS door panels, steering wheel is perfect. I have orginal door panels and comes with nice coco mats which will go with car along with some other items that came with the car.

It is well sorted great driver with nothing to do but enjoy,or with some new paint and real fuchs it could be a great original example. Everything works in the car and I would not hesitate to fly in and drive it home or just have it shipped.

I live in Ottawa Canada which is an hour from the US border.I am happy to drive it to delivery in the US within 6-8 hours or bringing it across to facilitate shipping within the US. I will also entertain any European buyers. Cash in my hand or bank before it goes anywhere.

Here is a link to a bunch of pictures, nothing to hide, pre-purchase inspections welcome at your expense. I will try and get a video up today or tomorrow. This is the first place I have posted it, after a week or so I will post locally and other sites and will probably not last very long at this price.

Well that was fast. Looks like it is going back to Germany.
I will post back here if the sale falls through.
Thanks pelican!
