O-Ring help
Hello all,
Excuse me if this post sounds incredibly "noobish" but, I have an issue that I need to fix. I was changing my Spark Plugs/Coil Packs in my '04 CS and I located this bugger (view pics) when I took the coil pack out. So a few questions: 1) Does this O-Ring have a specific name? 2) What is the part number? (If applicable) 3) Any special requirements for installing it? (Special tools, etc..) Thank you all! -F ![]() ![]() Last edited by wakeupfreddy; 09-29-2012 at 03:45 PM.. |

Looks like maybe it's a O-ring from the old coil pack? I just replaced the plugs and coils on my 2006 S and there were no additional O-rings that I had to install or replace. Was the O-ring missing from one of the original coils?

It could be the old coil packs, the new coil packs didn't have the O Ring. Actually, it was slightly melted when I pulled it out. Seeing that, I don't believe Porsche would do something like that. I could be wrong though.
