How doe's the Cayenne behave in deep snow?

As above with decent tires ?

Mine gets thru fine. ...but I suppose it depends on how soft and deep we're talking here.

I can't imagine any other OE production SUV doing better.

I put Good Year 'triple treads' tires on mine and it is pretty much a go anywhere vehicle. Triple tread tech tires have a 9 out of 10 rating on dry street, rain, mud and snow. Best money i ever spent.

Fun fact, if you get aimed up a hill that's covered in snow/ice and put it in 4wd/low/locked, you can break the tires free and creep up the hill at about 10-15mph in 5th gear at 5k+ rpms with the speedo saying about 27.

In normal driving, ours did great, even with all-season 20s on it.
