"Service Now"

I have a message on my dash telling me "service now." What does that mean?
I would like to know if this is a dealer or a indy type issue.
2016 Macan

With my Cayenne, it means that it has enough miles that the next service is due. I just reset it with the durametric.

But I have another 1800 miles yet to go to reach 40K.

My understanding is that your Macan uses an algorithm to determine how often it needs an oil change (based on driving conditions).

"Smart technology, like the Indicator-Based Service (IBS) system, automatically monitors the oil life in your vehicle using an advanced algorithm-driven, on-board computer system that alerts owners when it’s time for interim maintenance, so they can address the issue promptly and without hassle. When a service light is triggered, such as the “SERVICE NOW” light, accompanied by a wrench symbol on the dash, all the owner has to do is schedule an appointment with a trusted mechanic, take the vehicle in for servicing, and a mechanic will take care of the rest - it’s that simple."

I don't recall seeing the wrench, I will have to look again tomorrow.

How does one turn off or reset the "Change oil now" message. How much oil is required on an oil and oil filter change on the Macan S with the 3.0 liter V6 engine? The worthless owners manual does not mention "Capacities", "Specifications" or "Technical" info. Thanks.
