Cayenne 08 - key replacement

My 17 yr old, lucky her, is getting to use Old Blue' 08 Cayenne that has 161,000 miles on it.

I am thinking after a near lost key in snow this weekend that I should get a replacement key to have two so I called the dealer and they quoted me $650.00 for replacing and programming. That is outrageous! Is there a more cost effective alternative?

I bought one on ebay for about $50 then I purchased a separate blank key. Took the blank to a local locksmith who cut it for me. Then went to Porsche for them to reprogram the new key . I think they charged me about $60
