Question

Does a 2006 Cayenne s have the PORSCHE rear engine bearing problem?

Hi J - if it's the issue that I'm thinking of, it only affected the 996 platform. Other members should chime in to confirm.

I don't have the issue on my 06 Cayenne S, I'm at just over 100K miles now.

I did replace the drive shaft bearing with the vertex designed kit and lubed the center bearing while in there. Worked out great.
