VW Bug with Porsche Engines
Have any of you guys seen these? I have heard of a couple of people doing this? Any pictures and or advice. I am looking to start a future project with some research.

What kind of Porsche motor are you talking about? There's a whole community at www.shoptalkforums.com that deal with transplanting type 4 (Porsche 914) engines into VW's. Also checkout www.tunacan.net/t4 for more info on the swap.

yes this is actually a very common conversion, usually its a german look style bug (porsche parts bug body) i just recently installed a 2500cc type 4 that i rebuilt into a 71 suber beetle. go to www.germanlook.com for more info.
