356 Flywheel conversion to VW

Hi all, I have followed Duane Spencers book and had my 356 180mm Flywheel cut to fit a VW 200mm Kennedy stage 1 clutch at 4mm then 21.5mm cut and a 204.5 width with a 912/356 Scat Flywheel bolt and Kush Lock disk but it dont fit together.

I have about 3.5-4mm gap between the flywheel and the pressure plate when the disk is installed. It also look s like the disk is touching the flywheel nut.

Any ideas what has gone wrong?

Ren

I don't know what the depth of a 356 flywheel is, but the two VW flywheels are different.
A 180mm VW flywheel is 24.0mm from the mounting face of the PP to the disc surface, a 200mm flywheel is 21.0mm. Maybe this is what's causing your problem.
