Photos of air intake
Bob, this may give you some ideas on how I found room for my air intake on my 89 911 LS1.

Yan,
thanks. is that using the RH intake? |
I did get it from renegade hybrids. Most of the part that you can’t see which is not Rubber but Hard cast. I believe the person who created it was toyjet but I don’t remember 100%. The rest of the turns that I have are my own silicone rubber hoses with 90s to get it out-of-the-way. That is to get the air cleaner filter out of the way.

Thanks and good luck! Just bought a fender mounded oil cooler for the car. I sold the original when I did the conversion. Looking to lower temps a little on super hot days. Will post some results once I have done that.

Source of Heater Air
Quote:
To clarify, the air inlet to the barrel is pulling in air from the wheel well? If so, is it being filtered? If not, where is the air being pulled from? Thanks -Kevin |
Kevin, from the wheel well area. I get no gases in the car when using the heater. You can modify it to get air wherever you want by extending a silicone pipe or whatever to get intake through the barrel. Simple and really heats well.
