Hi I need your help! I have a 1974 911 fitted with a 3.6L 964 engine with my original 915 gearbox. I'm having clutch problems ... can anyone give me the right clutch kit that I could use and part number please. Sone had already mentioned SACHS Power kit ... any experience or other recommendations?
The car is going to be used mostly on the road and maybe on track so I need something practical. |

If you are still using the original 1974 clutch linkage setup, you should consider upgrading to the 76+ version with the omega spring. I have a 1974 911 with a 3.6 from a 1995 993 and that change made all the difference. My Sachs clutch and conversion flywheel came from Patrick Motorsports and works flawlessly.

Thanks for you reply. I don't have the omega spring cos I have an early 915 gearbox..now I'm thinking to change my gearbox with a 915/72 from a 1984 carrera 3.2 with oilcooler. Do you think it will fit on my 1974 G model? Can I use the same shafts? If no can I change the flanges with my old gearbox?

3000-961-108- m38 Pelican lists it as a part of their super clutch kit for a 1986 says fits 1972-1986 power clutch about $800 I used it with my conversion of a 1980 with a 3.6 seemed about as stiff as stock but was supposed to be more durable
