180 Degree Headers
Does anyone have experience with building/purchasing 180 degree headers for a V8 in a 911? Or, have you tried a different method of getting rid of the lumpy V8 sound like a flat cam or exhaust? I would love to hear what you have done to smooth out the V8. I'm looking into an LS1 swap, but want to figure out this piece first.

might check with renegade hybrids. they built a set for someones conversion. they probably have a sound bite or pics available. lots of tubing seemingly everywhere below the engine!

Yep, they will be happy to build a set for $8k

Does anybody have a video or sound clip from the 180° header car that Renegade Hybrids (or anybody else) built?
If you are planning to build your own, there are now header modelling kits available from a few companies like https://www.icengineworks.com/how-it-works/ that will make your life a lot easier. They are not cheap but will save you dozens of hours, and you could buy it used and then sell it afterwards to another builder. https://i1.wp.com/www.profusioncusto...op-banner2.png https://i1.wp.com/www.profusioncusto...nd-banner2.png |
