looking to do a V8 conversion?
I may be getting ahead of myself here a bit, but if you're planning to do a swap in the near-ish future, I'm going to be selling several parts from my already done swap.
I'm swapping my swap. I've made the decision to go with an LS3 and a different tranny. Ive already purchased the new motor and tranny and am getting a few more parts together before I start the project. The reason for the post now is if you're in the SoCal area and you are interested, PM me and I'll be happy to show you what I've got. I figure its always nicer to hear / see it running than buying it and hoping it actually runs. I recently bought a 911 with a Renegade V8 conversion that runs really well. It is a well built naturally aspirated SBC with aluminum Holly heads, 750 (i think) Holley carb, aluminum intake, big cam, ect. that sounds like a beast. I'm selling all the brackets, mounts, hoses, radiator, exhaust, everything for $900.00 (The tranny is a 930 that I will be selling separately as I'm going to need the cash to help finance the re-swap) Cheers |

LS1, 915 and 67 911 (or LT4)
I have a great candidate for a V8 swap. Clear title 67 911 already modified with 74 RS package, custom interior, digital dash, and over the top sound system.
I also have a 2003 Corvette LS1 60k long block (+$2000 w/ car) - 350hp also have a 2016 Corvette LT4 long block (+$7500 with car) and stock supercharger +$1500) to make 650hp. People who use "Procharger" superchargers claim @ 750hp. The car I have was extensively modified and had a 911 turbo engine in it (stolen). I would think someone should think seriously about upgrading brakes and suspension if considering this install. I have a 78 911 - 915 transmission which is the recommended unit by Renegade. +$2600 if sold with car. I have not touched this car since purchasing it; PO put A LOT of money into it, and hopefully somebody else appreciates his taste. I think I would pull the amps and maybe redo the dash - but that's me. $18,000 for the roller in Toledo See pics in 911s for sale "67 911 project" ![]() |
