Scam?

I wonder. I have been contacted by two buyers for the 3 items I have up for sale. They both said someone contacted them offering to sell them my items. How do they find out who is interested in parts. Do they just blast out PMs to everyone who looked at the ads?

A couple of years ago someone hijacked my account and put a bunch of 911 parts up for sale under my name. I got about 50 PMs from people wanting to buy parts I've never owned, let alone tried to sell.
It would be great to identify these crooks.
