Pics Added 1980 928 EURO 5 speed 'IS IT WORTH IT'
Hi all, I have located a 1980 928 EURO 5 speed. The guy is asking $3000. He said it needs a new radiator, it's pretty tough to put in second gear. The exterior is in good shape. The seats are pretty bad and the dash has the usual cracks. Is it worth it?
Forest Gray Service records from now back to 1984. Comes with 5 volumes of workshop manuals. Clean Title, 135,000 miles. Engine in great shape, with new tires, clutch, suspension, filters and fluid. Needs: New radiator. Current one has several leaks rendering car undrivable, must be towed off lot. The car could use new seats and some dash work. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I would think a new transmission and radiator cost over $3K. You can always BUY a cheap Porsche, but a Porsche is NEVER cheap to OWN and Maintain!
