Low mileage Cab in Atlanta. I would retail at $32,000 to $34,000. Wholesale @ $28,000. Good luck w/ your sale.

I wholesaled my 87 Cab w/ 48,000 miles for $27,000. It was re-sold for over $30,000 by a high line dealer. It was perfect. This car is desirable to a high end dealer due to the fact that they attract the casual enthusiast. These are third car owners who don't want to spend $100,000+ on a 2010 Cab. He wants a sports car to put his kids in to drive to the country club.

Mothball it? Everyone sells because they "have no time".. well.. you can make the time if it was important.. kids like Porsche's too! My 4 and 6 y.o love to go for rides in ours "when i make the time". Then i look at my dad.. he's had his 914-6 for 40 years! He hasn't always had the time (kids, job, etc) but now he does and I am glad he's kept it.
Just saying... ok.. $25K?

I like the turbo targa sans wings... looks sweet!
AIC and others (sloan, and victory come to mind) are always on the higher side of the price scale.

If you want to go ask 33k, bring it to a commission dealer. After fees, I bet you are close to my $20k guess.
![]() That said, maybe there is 25k to be had in a private sale far from California. Maybe even 28k! Good Luck! George |

33% commission? gimmie a break. The commission houses I know of charge 10% or a flat few. THats much more than a 20 grand car. I suspect its not all that difficult a sale at 25 to 27k maybe more with some patience.

A large specialty car dealer in my neck of the woods was going to take $8k on a $17k car (that is $17k in my pocket, $25k sale price, $27k advertised price).
Edit: The commission dealers all have different fee structures. The one I mentioned has a fee on the sale, nothing else. Others will ask $ for advertising and storing at their facility. There you will loose more and more the longer it sits. George |

wait until spring to sell. Atlanta isa good market for these. i wouldn't let my 88 go for less than $24 if i planned to sell which i don't.

I would start to sell in April with the idea someone will want it for the spring into summer.
The real question is how would you market the car. You want a well healed casual enthusiast. Quite frankly it really isn't a "pelican" type car [coupe]. Panorama? POC website?
