value of 3.2 with bad knock
What is a 3.2 engine worth with a bad bottom end knock?

Core value. A couple grand at best.

I agree with Matt. Rare for a 911, especially a 3.2, to have lower end problems. A full blown DIY engine rebuild is going to cost you $5-$6K no matter what 3.2 engine you start with.

Go price a good used 3.2 crank That'll up that engine rebuild figure by a bit. I would say it is worth $2500 at most.
And aren't the 3.2s prone to rod issues due to the smaller hardware? George |
