This could be a bargain "driver quality" car.

1985 Porsche 911

Under $14k? Not bad. Longhood backdate candidate, anyone?

Car looks priced very competitively. Non sport seats tho. Personally I'd loose the horrible steering wheel & shift Knob, I like the early C3 or Turbo ? style tail, presumably after market, but still nice.
It wont last long. Then what's the grace period till its on E bay for 20k+ LOL

And how much for the engine rebuild and tranny? At least they are being honest about the mechanical condition. I appreciate that.

I wonder if Pam would be more pissed about being included in the list, or or her placement in the order of merit?

stubborn/slow shifting from 1-2 in a 915 doesn't necessarily mean a rebuild is imminent. And a chain tensioner oil line is not an indicator the engine needs a top end. I never saw the mileage.

The low price would indicate it needs some work, though. But if you are looking at getting in the game at a low price, looks like a bargain.

It may not need a rebuild but even if it does, you would know that it was done and ready for worry-free miles.
