Looks pretty nice for a bastard. But I cant imagine it going much higher than the current bid. 30 k will get you a nice original 3.2.

I feel like I should be more of a purist, but I can't help but love a clean backdated car. Definitely beats the SC to 964 conversion listed on there as well.

This is pretty sweet - would have been interested if I didn't just buy a car. GLWS!

Sweet looking car!
A stock 3.2 in that condition would be a ~$30k car. No idea what the market thinks of back dates, but I would guess it would add value to the "right" buyer if done to a high standard, and this looks the business in the pictures. I hope techweenie drops in -- I think he has mentioned expeirence with backdates before. Maybe $40k if you are willing to hold out for a bite in a selective market? But that is a total swag. Are you in a hurry to sell, and what is the net present value of your money?

I should have clarified, it's not my car. I'm in the market and wanted you guys to verify that this car will exceed my budget haha. With 20 bids and 9 days left at $30k I would expect it to end up being more than I want to spend, but we'll see.

Wow, that looked like a really nice car.
It sold offline, but my guess is it went for over $40K. I bet if fully advertised, marketed, etc. it could have gone over $50K. It's not for everyone, but there are still plenty who would pay fairly large for a backdated car like that. And it only takes 1! |

Hard to read the receipts, but it looks like an engine and tranny rebuild.
I have no answers for what is going on with that car. It looks pretty incredible for that price.

Is an impact bumper car actually longer than a LWB longhood (bumpers aside of course)?
The car in question just seems too long compared to a RS. 1973 Porsche 911 RS India Red $425K Sold - a set on Flickr |

This is not a 84 But still its a Clone and it sold for close to $95k.
Impressive Build: RSR-Style 1973 Porsche 911T I've had and seen lots of 80's RS clones go for the 60-80k Range, The big thing is the quality of the build. I seen this car in Person at legends of the autobahn concourse and It is as nice as it looks. It scored very high for a clone as well. |

Yeah I expect the Orange RS car to hit the market again and I figure it would do in the 60-70k range |
