35k for this Bevetly 911T

TheSamba.com :: VW Classifieds - 1968 Porsche 911T

Custom floorpans - very nice. Much more aerodynamic than stock.

I wonder where and how they find all their cars!?

They find their cars under every rock that has already been turned - by a number of people.

Matt, I take you for a very knowledgeable guy. But I guess there are limits.

I got on my biohazard suit and went there last week. Saw that car (bumper seals were all sprayed the same dull red) and someone was going on a 'test drive,' but the car would not start. That likely will not change how they list the car. They avoid detailed descriptions, sticking with lots of photos. It's caveat emptor.

Incidentally, the volume is staggering. While I was there, they rolled a silver 70 coupe from the transport truck around the corner and there was a buyer/broker/dealer on it before it got 100' to the front driveway. The good cars they buy (randomly, it would appear) sell very fast.

Christian,
That doesn't tell me very much. Why be a prick about it? How about you just explain your reference for me?

The link posted was the only one on the internet with the word "beverty" in it.

Matt, you totally misunderstood my comment. I was just trying to be funny. Obviously I have fat fingers and cant hit the right keys - no other explanation

Matt,
Please remember that one man's quick attempt at humor is another man's prick.

I'm guessing it's a typo of "Beverly" as the car's being offered by the infamous Beverly Hills Car Club.

But thanks for the link Christian...

Cheers

Tech, did you get a chance to check the harlekin targa out. I kind of like it, but I dont think that it will ever pass inspections, let alone go in a straight line!?

I didn't see it. I was there to see potentially viable candidates and did not visit the ICU.

As sometimes I've been negative about their cars, they seem to have a good business plan and model - buy everything and anything 911 - so they must have tremendous working capital and space, not to mention the networks to search, track down and buy the stuff to begin with not to mention the powers of persuasion to flip it all...
