How long does one wait for a pending payment ?

Just curious, if someone says i'll take it , how long do you wait for payment?

Whatever you agree on. On something small they should either paypal within 24 hours or have committed to when you should get a check.

On cars that should be covered up front. The longest I have taken to pay was a mutually agreed week when I had to move some money coming into a holiday weekend. The seller and I agreed to the time and I wired the money when promised.
