1976 930 Turbo thinking about selling
I am thinking about selling my 1976 930 turbo 3 owner car that I have owned since 1992, I am the 3rd owner and I have service records back to 1977 and all original manuals. I am looking for any idea’s about the best way to sell the car, or interest in the car.
This car is a true survivor car with zero rust and all original paint and interior. I have not seen anything like it for sale in the last couple of years this is a very unique car. All serial numbers and information match the Porsche COA. White color with color code 908-9-2 Black Interior with no cuts or holes, the dash doesn’t even have any cracks in it. Never been in an accident. Always stored in a heated air conditioned garage. Serial number is 115 and the engine is #33 Currently 44,961 miles, Engine just refreshed about 50 miles ago with new rings, valve job, fluid change, head stud replacement, and lots of other stuff Based on what non original cars are going for I am thinking $249,900 is where to start this car, am I to low? Or is the ahead of the market? Or can you be ahead of the market if there is nothing like what you have to offer? Any input or interest would be appreciated Thanks so much. Now accepting US $ at par

ClassyCarrera's comparable car had a repaint and colour change so I'd value yours higher. Maybe not $100K higher though.
Cheers d.

You can always ask for $250k and negotiate.

Send it to one of the big brokers like Sloan or Canepa and you might get your price. Bill Noon of Symbolic sold a high mileage one for good money.

So Just wondering but how much of a premium would an original paint and interior be worth?
All the ones I have seen for sale have been repainted. |

The $143K car above was accident damaged and has "stories" you should not be comparing it to yours.
Check out the "turbo Carerra" page on Fchat. I would think your car is worth some what more than you think. |

There is a nice very low miles 77 at Canepa right now for $345k. You see very few original 76's for sale. Bill Noon just sold a completely restored 76 with 203k miles for the $170's, I think a minimum of a 50 % premium for your car would be justified if it's really nice.
