Ex Wife Takes Off With Registrations Of Porsches - News

Guys check this out:

http://nypost.com/2016/12/20/ex-wife-took-off-with-registrations-for-vintage-porsche-collection/

Seems like there are lies, shenanigans, and outright falsehoods coming from the other side as well. I found this to be especially rich.

"In the meantime, Thomas, a former professional racing mechanic, had to pay $7,000 to get replacement documents. That’s because in order to get new registrations from the Department of Motor Vehicles,he needed the vehicle identification numbers."

"But the VIN number are hidden inside old Porsches, and the cars has to be taken apart in an expensive procedure at a garage in order for the data to be retrieved."

And the wheel in the sky keeps on turnin'...

They must have had to go after the secondary id numbers. Why all the primary numbers are missing is puzzling since the cars don't look that dismantled.

Here in SC you can get a replacement registration/sticker just by bringing in your drivers license to show proof of ownership . They print it off right there.

If she swiped the titles, that's a bit more serious , but you can pay to have that re-printed and sent to you as well..

Weak journalism. But the truth is, the two things you can count on journalists to be ill-informed on are guns and cars.
