Mutable eh? Is that what they call swirl marks these days?

Matt Monson 01-19-2018 08:00 AM

Original owner. The purple and green bike in the center is a 1995 Stumpjumper M2. Last year they were hand made in USA with a 1st year Judy SL on it.

to me, the problem with Guards Red isn't the red color. It's a good looking color, that is classic to Porsche....
... but seeing 10 of the same color at every car show, makes the color boring.... and so many are oxidized and not well-maintained, so the color becomes drab, on top of very commonplace....a Guards Red Porsche no longer turns my head...unless it's a 959 ;)

^ Agree. I don't dislike GR. It's just oh so common. I've owned GR cars twice, an 85 Carrera and a 924S.

Re GR: I still love my car, just having a little fun.

Re mountain bikes: I still have an old hardtail (circa 1998) with a Marzocchi fork, but if you guys still ride and don't have a new FS bike you should check them out. The new bikes are amazing.

Tights are not yoga pants. I’ve been wearing Lycra for 30 years. Hell, I was a swimmer and still own speedos.

That said, if you want to be in Luccia’s Class the dress code is strictly enforced.

This is what happens when you sprayed too much guards red back inna day! Stuff makes you loopy.

Factory paint in the hatch of a 924S track car.

A friend took apart a Telefunken radio out of a Pre-A once, it had three pieces of fabric in the speaker screen, the middle piece was a silk material, all swastika's.

Beautiful car, but they also painted over the tag

Now that I look at it I see it’s backwards. Hard to believe a neo-Nazi line worker would’ve made that mistake. Possibly added later during cage install?
