Show Me Your Panamera!

We finally have a Panamera section, so let's see some photos of your Panamera!

This was my 2014 Rhodium Silver Panamera 4S. Gotta say, I kinda miss it... it was a fantastic car.

I'm going to be shooting some videos on installing Carplay, a rear Camera, and some other juicy tidbits.

New Panamera has arrived

My wife’s new Panamera has finally arrived - a 2020 Panamera executive turbo in night blue metallic. Really enjoying it so far.

I'm new to the Porsche line of cars. I started from a 65 Pontiac GTO, 71 240Z, a 91 Acura NSX and finally needed a little more room and 4 doors and Porsche finally produced this beautiful car. It's basically a 2018 base model P4 Turismo 3.0 Ltr. with the usual dealer upgrades for their profit margins. However it sat on their lot for almost 2 years and was slightly used as a loaner so it only had 4K miles on it. They gave me a great deal on it so I got this $112K car for a little over $84K with an extended 3 year Porsche warranty. Drives and handles like a dream and I have few if any complaints except to the design of the PCM system. Sixteen year olds should not be in charge of any software on a car. . period. Now you can guess I'm no spring chicken but have been able to handle just most mechanical problems on my cars over the years. My biggest complaint about Porsche is the factories unwillingness to give you necessary information to allow you to maintain your vehicle and fix problems in most cases yourself. And I would love to castrate the people involved with the decision to DELETE the oil dipstick in this or any other Porsche. Nothing in their thought process justifies doing that and it's only a sham to force most owners to take the car back to the dealer for simple oil changes which now cost over $400. More on this later. Glad we now have a base of owners who hopefully can solve some of these problems through sharing our knowledge and experiences.

That’s a head turner for sure. I bet it gets a lot of attention.

I've been pleased so far. It is getting clayed and C-Quartz ceramic coating today and then clear film for the front. I was worried about the future paint chips as I plan on driving her rain or shine. It is not my 911 by any means but it is quite comfortable.

I’m thinking of doing the same on my next purchase. Can you tell me a little about getting the ceramic coating?
Sounds like you need to make sure the paint is super clean (clay) then the ceramic coating, then the clear film on top of that?

you are 100% correct. It's amazing how great the 2016, I just sold, looked. Everyone thought it was like a 2020 model year. The car I sold was still beading water like it was just coated.
The process is as you mentioned above. Clean, Clay, Coat then install the clear film. I know there is a massive difference in ceramic protection. I only have experience with C Quartz. I have it on my 911, my wife's Lexus and my ex-daily driver. All have held up great. I am only clear filming the front and hood of the Sport Turismo. A complete car clear filmed get's real expensive.....
