Strut replace question...
If I replace my strut with a shorter one, do I need a longer rear shock? I would like to get my 2001 r1100s to tuck into turns a little quicker. Thanks ~Paul

Your stock shock will work just fine but your centerstand won't -it makes contact with your strut. You'll love the improvement in turn in with the shorter strut. You may want to consider the GS strut rather than an aftermarket item as it's considerably cheaper and is the exact length of most aftermarket items. Happy riding. Regards, Ron

Glad to help Paul. The strut mod puts a bit more sport in the S than was there originally. Regards, Ron
