1999 R1100S with many quality mods (bargain)
I'm considering selling my mandarin '99 S (non ABS model) and though I'd post it here first as this group would have the greatest appreciation for the work that's been done.... I live in Denver CO, and the bike has 20,675 miles on it. It actually won the Foothills BMW dyno shootout for highest HP boxer at their open house last summer. Fueling mix spot-on BTW. (I know - it's like being the best football team in Alaska, but FWIW....) The following is a list of mods done...
Staintune exhaust, Laser chip, Wilbur shocks front and rear - rear shock is remote reservoir with high and low speed comp. dampening, full San Jose intake with their high-flow filter, SS steel brake lines front and back, dual fiamm horns, HID high and low beams, full BMW carbon kit, 5.5" wheel, GS paralever arm, suburban mach. oil plug and cam covers, stealth fender eliminator/plate mount, Z-teck. acc mount, acc plug. I also have a new set of Pilot Power tires (never mounted) that I can include for the right buyer I'd prefer to sell to someone who would inspect the bike and ride it before buying so they can fully appreciate what they will be getting. With all this I think it would be a bargain at $7800.. Should be more since BMW lifted my color scheme for the new R1200S.... Sorry about the poor quality photos, I'll try to get some better shots.. Last edited by E Scott; 02-21-2006 at 06:00 PM.. |

OK hopefully this worked and you have pics now. Obviously (you can tell from all the green grass) these are not real recent, but I can post some new or close up shots of whatever upon request... Also I've switched back to the original low BMW screen and factory low bars (stock on this year). |

Nice looking R11S...I have a '99 silver/mandarin R11S myself. I know you were going to post some new pics so I thought I would clean them up a bit and included them here for your use. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks! Yeah I love the bike, but it's really hard for me to justify having 2 bikes right now. Also hard to sell since I've got it done up just how I want it now and don't want to part it out.
